Madawaska Kanu Centre has been growing the river community since 1972 with our mission to build skilled, ethical and passionate leaders in the outdoors industry. We are proud to have welcomed many people into the world of whitewater and consider ourselves a “wilderness classroom” for both our staff & paddling students alike. Kitchen Team
Our food is probably MKC’s most attractive feature. Our kitchen staff work passionately to create healthy and hearty meals with as much local produce as possible.
Raft Guide & Maintenance Team
We offer 2 hour rafting trips on the Mad; they are fun, splashy and expose kids to the wonders of playing outside! Our raft guides run these trips as well as run MKC facility upkeep. Excitement through variety!
Office Team
The MKC office team works together as the administrative backbone to our entire operation. We answer a lot of questions and book people into the program of their dreams. We are also a boutique and café serving delicious, locally roasted espresso!
Whitewater Instruction Team
Teaching at MKC is a unique opportunity for experienced paddlers to work in a professional and incredibly rewarding environment. We seek inspiring and passionate instructors – capable of teaching kayak, or solo & tandem canoe.
